Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the DnD Complete Reference family of applications, developed and published by Emerald IT B.V..

1. Our commitment

We value your privacy. Our goal is to collect as little personal information as possible. The app is fully functional without collecting analytics, advertising identifiers, or usage statistics. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

2. Information we collect

The app only processes the following information:

Data Purpose
Account information (email address and password chosen by you) Used only to link the mobile app with the DnD Content Creator and synchronize user-created content.
Google Play purchase information Google Play provides purchase information so previously purchased in-app products can be restored when you install the app on another device. We do not receive or store your payment information.
User-created content Characters, campaigns, homebrew content and other content you choose to synchronize with the Content Creator. This content is stored only to provide synchronization between your devices and the Content Creator.

3. Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect:

  • Analytics or usage statistics.
  • Advertising identifiers.
  • Location information.
  • Contacts.
  • Photos or media (unless you explicitly choose to import your own content where supported).
  • Device identifiers for tracking.
  • Behavioral profiling.

4. How we use your information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Authenticate your account.
  • Synchronize your user-created content.
  • Restore purchased in-app products through Google Play.
  • Provide technical support when requested.

We never use your information for advertising or analytics.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties.

Your Google Play purchases are managed by Google according to Google's own privacy policies. Payment information is never accessible to Emerald IT B.V.

6. Data retention

Your account information remains stored only as long as your account exists. If you request deletion of your account, the associated account will be permanently removed in two steps. First we soft-delete the account, that way we can restore your account if you want to restore it. After 2 years of inactivity the account is permanently deleted unless we are legally required to retain certain information.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and synchronized data.
  • Request information about the data we store.

9. Account deletion

If you wish to delete your account, go to Delete account Your account will be soft deleted. After 2 years of inactivity your account will be completely deleted. If you wish to restore your account within this period, you can do so by following the restore account process at Restore account.

10. Children's privacy

The app is not specifically directed at children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will always be published on this page together with the latest revision date.
