Grew up with three siblings and was always a bit of an outcast among them. However, he had much love for them and his parents. At a young age, the exact year lost to him, his village was attacked by giants and his family was killed. In the days that followed he did not weep, nor did he speak to anyone. All he did was build his hatred and think of vengeance. That is when the god Tyr appeared to him and set him on the path of becoming a paladin of Tyr. He traveled many years from his homeland and worked as he could to survive. Finally, he was discovered by the church of Tyr, who saw his purpose and trained him in the ways of the paladin. He wanted glory so that he may one day sit by his god in Valhalla. So, with glory being his goal, he would take that name. He became a force of justice and vengeance helping all who had wrong done to them. This had led him to the Savage Frontier where reports of Giant attacks have been reported. Maybe now he could get the revenge he sought. For many years Glory lived and worked for the Church of Tyr in the city of Bryn Shander. Then one fateful day a group of adventurers walked into the city and Glory found a brother in Tyr a cleric named Big and knew he must help as he can. The group traveled many places to find the Spine of the World and kill frost giants. But something darker was lurking. The group found that an ancient blue dragon was manipulating the giants. At this discovery Glory found the one responsible for the killing of his family and vowed to kill the dragon even if it meant his death. The party saved the king of the giants. Along the journey friends were lost and friends were gained. And Glory himself almost died many times. But now the final battle was upon them and as Glory and his comrades entered the layer of the ancient blue dragon Iymrith, Glory knew the path he must take. Though he and his comrades fought bravely he knew that they would not defeat the dragon. So, Glory took the 22 beads of fireball his party had collected and told the rest of his comrades to get out. They knew the sacrifice he was going to make before the attack, so they all left. Once his last comrade left Glory flew above the dragon and uttered the words “Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Then he took the beads in hand cocked back his arm and with all his strength threw them at Iymrith. Screaming “In the name of Tyr!” The combined power of the 22 fireballs glassed the whole cavern and disintegrated Glory. Iymrith however was unharmed due to its special ability. The remaining adventurers fought the dragon. Glory’s brother in arms and brother in Tyr Big the cleric summoned ancestral warriors, which Tyr used to show Glory’s new purpose to those that fought with him in life. For now, Glory is a demi-god and will fight for justice through the ages. For Tyr saw all of his deeds in life and granted the one thing he wanted more than anything. Glory in the highest form.
