How to share with the DM tools or "Save" character

So I made the purchase for the DM tools and character manager and looked through the tutorial. There is reference to saving your character and sharing info with the DM, however I have yet to figure or see how I can do that. Help??

You can export the complete character using the menu in the upper right side of the screen when you are viewing one of your characters.
This creates a character file (.dd5char) that you can share with anyone and that can be imported into the app. You can also use this feature to backup your characters.
