Actually the bug is that whenever the backpack page is loaded (you change tabs or switch back to the app from another app), the previous value is not cleared. Instead the backpack weight is calculated and added to the existing value instead of starting from zero. This seems to happen regardless of what values are entered in the page. If you reenter any value, it will fix itself until you change tabs again. If you want, I could probably make a video of it.
An example of the weights would be going from 50 to 100 to 150.
Sorry the other bug report is wrong, this should be more correct.
This bug is happening to me and another person using Android in my group.

If you put a - for any weight in the inventory list, the total weight will get bigger every time you open that page of your character sheet. If you remove the hyphen/minus symbol and replace it with a 0, the bug goes away.

How to reproduce the bug, change the weight of something in your inventory to a -.

Maybe you can run some input validation or make the field red if someone jams a symbol in there.
