I wanted to add the Little Bag of Sand & Small Knife from the Scholar’s Pack to the list of Adventuring Gear so I could just easily Copy/Paste the descriptions I gave the items into the character creator app I use (Reroll).

This is a homebrew race I made based mainly on the character Wilbur Whateley from the H.P. Lovecraft story "The Dunwich Horror".

Eldritch Spawns are the children of Yog-Sothoth, and they are each born with innate aberrant powers. They can speak telepathically to other intelligent creatures, ravage a target’s mind with a spike of psychic energy, warp and alter the environment around them, and even transmute their own bodies to suit their needs or desires.

They age preternaturally quickly, reaching adulthood at age 6. It is not known how long it takes for them to die of old age, however.

They are much taller than any human, standing between 9 and 10 feet tall when fully grown. They have human faces, which, while usually ugly, are overall normal-looking, except for their goat-like eyes & ears.

Their bodies, however, hardly look human at all. Reptilian scales cover an Eldritch Spawn’s chest and back, and tentacles writhe in place of their arms. On each hip is a large eye, and from the waist down, they are covered in coarse black fur, and have feet which resemble hooves at first glance, but upon closer inspection are padded and pawlike.

They have no bones, though usually this is not made evident until they die, at which point their body dissolves, leaving behind nothing but a whiteish mass of viscous slime.
