You have the "Download dd5 file" or export button in the content creator.
This gives you a file that you can then upload to the forums.

When I find the time I will look into this, does anyone has the pdf?

It is not in the app yet, primarily because most items do not have a weight attached to them in the database, making it a bit tricky to implement. I could set it as manual text field but that creates a lot of work for the user.

Let me know what you think would be a nice solution.

When you go the content creator, login with your forum account.
Then go to My Classes -> new class and enter the title and other information in the boxes.
You can copy most of the content from the dandwiki page into the big text box in the bottom.

Save the class and export your dd5 file to import it into the app.

Thanks for the feedback, is that in the online character manager or in the app?

Thank you for the very suggestions and feedback!

I will definitely work on the spell page and indeed lvl0 spells should get a different option there..
There is currently no search function for the site unfortunately, I have to look into it to see how much work that would be.

If you want to help with sorting out the custom content give me a PM smile

You can use custom avatars now, just select them from your image gallery.

Happy new year to you too!
Sorry for the late reply.

I think you have very good points and I will see if I can fix these for the next release. The reason why not all the rules are there is basically simple, I apparently forgot to add a few sad .

I agree regarding editing. It would be great if you could duplicate a listing before editing it. For example, I thought I might create a separate monster listing for a swarm of spiders. It would be much easier if I could duplicate the insect swarm entry then add in the extra spider abilities rather than doing it all from scratch.

I've also notice the D&D Entry Creator doesn't have an option to add or edit rules. It would be really useful to be able to do that from here rather than creating custom rules on my phone.

You actually can, when you click edit for an item, and then save, you will be asked if you want to overwrite or create a new item.

Hope that helps!

I Really love the app, but I would love to be able to edit the database via some sort of editor.

Right now there is some Info missing here and there in the spells or multiple entries of the same item and so on.

Also what Mike the mad said above, there needs to be a way for grouping by sources, especially to separate official from homebrew sources.

I'd even go as far as to offer help with development!

Kind regards.

Thanks for the offer, send me an email to info@vansteinengroentjes.nl or a direct message, such that we can discuss the possibilities.

Each bookmarked item can be seen in the "All bookmarks" but also when you go to "Classes" for example, you can see the bookmarked classes.

So there is already a way to see your bookmarks per category. Ordering them would indeed be a good idea, perhaps just alphabetically?

Dear Daniel,

We are still working on that part of the character manager, I do not want to add too many fields since it becomes confusing and unhandy but I agree they should be filled in correctly.

Dear DungeonMunster,

Thank you for the crash report, we are aware of issues with Android 8 and 8.1, the bug unfortunately is not directly the app but is inside Android itself.
We use a webview to display the content and sometimes (seemingly random) this causes a crash in an Android native library.

What it basically means, is that we can not fix it and need to wait for an Android patch. We hope the next update will make it work better again.

Dear chris,
Check the official content thread, if it is not there then you can always add it yourself using our content creator tools big_smile

Dear user,

If you want a refund please send me your receipt to info@vansteinengroentjes.nl
Very strange that this happens though, please first try to completely remove and re-install the app. The purchase should be restored automatically.
What device do you use?

Dear akesher,

I will have a look at the ios rules section, perhaps we forgot to include some pages.
I do know that not all rules are in it, just to keep the app easy to use and lightweight we removed the most common rules, which can also be easily found online.

Dear Termy,

It should sync when you start the app, so perhaps you can force-stop the application or do a reboot.
Be sure to install the app with the same Apple-id or Google account when you install the app on your device.

Send me an email to info@vansteinengroentjes.nl if the problem persists.

Dear imtheslime,

At the moment not because I do not want custom images to sync with the server.
Perhaps I can make this a "local" feature only though.

After downloading the files you should click the file and open them with the app.
It happens sometimes that depending on your phone/tablet it does not recognise the file type and does not show the app as an option to open with, in such case, try a different browser or file-browser app or send the file by email and open it from the email app.

Hope that helps.

The .dd35 files in this thread are 5th edition content. The file extension is just legacy.

Sorry for the confusion.

Syncing is still very experimental, sorry that these issues occur.

You can fill in the background story etc in the notes sections at the bottom of the character sheet in-app.
Not all pdf fields are filled in though when you want to print it. I personally just use it in the app and not on paper.

Yep, or have one level of your class and another of the archetype.

Dear Zercer

At the moment I do not support custom avatars yet in the app, primarily because this causes issues in syncing the characters with the online version.
I am working on a solution though.
